Ancient Greek Theater Unearthed in Athens

Athens: There is exciting news in Athens this week. Scholars
and archaeologists have been looking for the remains of the ancient
Greek theater of Acharnae for two hundred years. It appears that it
may have finally been found according to experts who announced the
possible find on Thursday.
Experts believe that further excavation of the ancient Greek
site which was found in a northern suburb of Athens will reveal
additional artifacts from the Acharnae theater. They expect to find
marble statues and other religious items. The famous ancient
theater was referred to by Greek writers in antiquity. The ancient
Greek theater of Acharnae appears to be mostly intact.
