One of the vandals punch the Claude Monet painting titled &#8220;Le Pont de&#8217;Argenteuil&#8221; (<em>The Argenteuil Bridge)<\/em> leaving a 10-centimetre hole, probably using a fist. Claude Monet&#8217;s painting is typical of the 19th century impressionist style, whose central focus was the painting of light and color.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No arrests have been made in the vandalism of Claude Monet&#8217;s painting, but it appears to have been done during an annual night-long festival featuring fun, music and exhibits.
